The pill reminder that actually rings.
On iPhone, a dose can ring like a real alarm, even on silent and in Focus. Answer “Taken” from the lock screen, and Ringdose keeps track of the rest.
Notifications are easy to miss.
An alarm isn’t.
Most pill apps send a notification. It arrives once, quietly, often while your phone is on silent, and it’s gone with one swipe. Ringdose can ring like a real alarm and ask you again if the dose isn’t marked.
Who Ringdose is for
You have ADHD
The reminder arrives, you swipe it away, and an hour later you can’t remember if you took it. Ringdose reminds you again if the dose isn’t marked, and on iPhone it can ring like an alarm until you answer.
You look after a parent
Keep Mum’s or Dad’s medications on your own phone in a separate profile, with their own schedule and supply (Ringdose Pro).
You take several medicines a day
Morning, lunch, evening, every other day, 21 days on and 7 off. Ringdose handles real-life schedules without a fight.
You take supplements
Vitamin D, magnesium, iron, omega-3. Add as many as you like. The free version has no limit.
Everything you need to take it on time
An alarm, not a whisper
On iPhone with iOS 26 or later, alarm mode (Ringdose Pro) makes a dose ring like your alarm clock, on time, even on silent and in Focus. Answer “Taken” right from the lock screen. On Android, reminders use exact alarms so they come on the minute.
A second reminder if you forget
Got distracted? If the dose isn’t marked, Ringdose reminds you once more after the minutes you choose (10 unless you change it). In alarm mode, the alarm rings again.
Time windows, not exact minutes
“Lunch, 11:30–13:30” instead of a fixed 12:00. The reminder comes when the window opens, and the dose only counts as missed once it has closed.
Skip, undo, fix the time
Took it earlier? Change the time. Not today? Skip it. Mistake? Undo. Your history stays honest.
Know when to refill
Ringdose counts down your supply with every dose and tells you which day it runs out, with a gentle and an urgent warning and a quiet notification (which you can turn off).
History you can show your doctor
A calendar of taken, skipped and missed doses, and adherence per week. Export every dose as a spreadsheet (always free) or a PDF report (30 days free, longer with Pro).
Recognise the right pill
Pick the colour and shape of each pill, or add a photo, so you take the right one from the pill organiser.
Private by design
No account, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no cloud sync. Your medication list stays on your phone; a backup file you save yourself takes it to a new phone.
Modes for specific treatments
Optional modes for GLP-1 pens, HRT, testosterone gel, biologic injections and ADHD medication: injection sites, patch changes, dose steps and a report. They follow your prescription and never suggest a dose.
Big, calm and readable
Large text, VoiceOver and TalkBack, light and dark mode, and higher contrast when your phone asks for it. In nine languages: English, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, German, Dutch, Spanish and French.

Questions
How is this different from an ordinary reminder?
An ordinary notification makes one sound and slides away. In alarm mode on iPhone, Ringdose uses the same system alarm as the Clock app (AlarmKit, iOS 26 or later): it rings on time, shows on the lock screen and sounds even when your phone is on silent or in a Focus, until you answer it. Without alarm mode, and on Android, Ringdose sends a notification and reminds you once more if the dose isn’t marked.
Is the free version actually useful?
Yes. You can add as many medications as you want, get reminders, track your supply and export your history. Pro adds the alarm, extra profiles and long-term history.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-in and no cloud sync. Everything is stored on your phone. To move to a new phone, save a backup file from Settings → Export and restore it there; a backup of the whole phone can also include Ringdose.
Does Ringdose give medical advice?
No. Ringdose reminds you and keeps a record. It does not calculate doses, check interactions or recommend anything. Follow the instructions from your doctor or pharmacist.
Which phones does it work on?
iPhone and Android. Alarm mode needs iOS 26 or later; on older iOS versions Ringdose uses time-sensitive notifications. On Android, reminders are notifications on exact alarms, and Ringdose helps you check the settings that can delay them. The widget is iPhone only.
Never wonder “did I take it?” again.
Coming soon to iPhone and Android.
Not medical advice. Ringdose reminds and records. It does not calculate doses, check interactions or recommend treatment. Follow the instructions from your doctor or pharmacist.
